Terms of Use

Effective October 14, 2026

These Terms cover use of Loka Studio, the Loka mobile app, optional cloud sync, and the Loka website, a project from Scivana. By accepting the Terms in the app, you agree to these conditions and the linked Privacy Policy.

Your choice of local or cloud use

Local use does not require a name, email, or cloud account. Cloud sync requires those account details and a trusted device connection. Provide information you are entitled to use, protect your devices and sign-in links, and keep recovery words somewhere private and separate from the device.

Your library and content

You retain rights in the content you add to your library. Upload only content you have permission to use. You authorize the processing, storage, and transfer needed to provide the features you enable, including encrypted cloud sync and any external generation provider you select. Do not use Loka to infringe others' rights, distribute unlawful content, attack the service, or access another person's account.

Practice and generated content

Loka is a practice aid. Recall results, generated images, stories, and speech can contain mistakes. Review material before relying on it. Memory performance and uninterrupted service are not guaranteed.

Development and availability

Loka is in development. Features, compatibility, and availability may change. Internet access and an available Studio may be needed for cloud processing and regeneration. Keep independent exports of material you cannot afford to lose. Local device failures, lost recovery words, provider outages, and interrupted sync can affect access to your data.

Optional email updates

Choosing product updates is optional and separate from accepting these Terms. Confirmation and unsubscribe controls govern Loka emails. Your choice does not subscribe you to Naka or other Scivana products.

Ending use

You can stop using Loka, remove local app data, and request deletion of the cloud account through Studio. Cloud-account deletion does not remove local copies or exports you control. Service access may be restricted to prevent abuse or protect other users.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Loka is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

Updates to these Terms will appear here with a new effective date. The app may ask for renewed acceptance when needed for cloud sync. Questions can be sent through the Loka project support channel.
